Direct-Legal is a service especially set up to assist the the client have direct and personal access to an appropriate barrister efficiently and economically but without incurring the additional legal fees of referral from a solicitor.
The client need not worry about upsetting any solicitor he usually uses by employing our services. Every solicitor knows that direct access is now permitted and that if he, the solicitor, does not have the required expertise himself, he would be obliged to refer the matter elsewhere anyway, some solicitor are restricted to lower courts except for those few who hold an Higher Court Advocacy Certificate.
A client might well have sufficient expertise to prepare his own case articulately for immediate submission to a member of the Bar, yet might not be aware of an appropriately experienced barrister to take his case. For that client, Direct-Legal will simply effect an introduction to a member of the Bar with the relevant length of service (since call) and with experience in the type of work.
For the inexperienced client, Direct-Legal provides competent staff to interview the client, peruse all the relevant documents and papers and put them into a form familiar to members of the Bar for them to work on efficiently and with the minimum of wasted time and therefore save the client’s money.
